I’ve just published a blog post about my/our recent two weeks in Oslo for TDWG and the GBIF Governing Board meeting: _[Building Connections and New Possibilities for BHL at TDWG 2026 and GBIF GB33](https://blog.biodiversitylibrary.org/2026/10/tdwg-2026-and-gb33)._

It was my ninth consecutive TDWG conference and my second GBIF GB meeting. One of the things I love most about these gatherings is catching up with old friends, making new ones, and having those wonderful conversations that lead to new ideas and collaborations.

I’ve included a highlights from our BHL symposium and workshop, some exciting outcomes from our discussions with GBIF, and a few personal adventures along the way!

It was so lovely to see many of you in Oslo. I came away with so many new ideas and possibilities to explore. Thank you to everyone who contributed to such a stimulating and productive couple of weeks, particularly @rdmpage for running the fabulous BHL workshop!
