We’re delighted to share that [Vanderbilt University’s Jean and Alexander Heard Libraries](https://www.library.vanderbilt.edu/) have joined the Biodiversity Heritage Library (BHL) as a new Member of the Consortium.

Alongside membership, Vanderbilt is contributing significant in-kind technical support over the next three years. This includes cloud infrastructure expertise and technical leadership that will support the continued development, sustainability, and performance of the BHL platform.

This announcement follows the recent addition of the [University of South Florida Libraries](https://blog.biodiversitylibrary.org/2025/12/announcing-new-member-university-of-south-florida-libraries), highlighting a growing network of institutional support for [BHL’s New Chapter](https://blog.biodiversitylibrary.org/2026/01/transition-update-7-new-chapter-begins).
