I am a horticulturalist, educator, and photographer based in Denmark, with a lifelong passion for the natural world and historical botanical art.

After graduating with a B.S. in horticulture in 1989, I spent my career teaching landscape gardeners in botany, landscape management, and biology. In the 1990s, I co-developed a national nature preservation education program in Denmark, stemming from my deep interest in conservation—a passion that also led me to work as a volunteer on RSPB reserves in the UK during the 1980s (primarily at Insh Marshes, along with short stints in Loch Garten, Fetlar, and Orkney).

I have been an active photographer since the age of 10. Today, I combine my professional background in botany, my eye for photography, and my love for heritage archives into digital restoration.
