BHL’s 20th anniversary celebrations continued at our 2026 Annual Meeting in London (27 April to 1 May), hosted by the Natural History Museum and Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
This year’s meeting was both a celebration and a dedicated time for strategic planning. Partners gathered to reflect on 20 years of collaboration, review BHL’s governance and committee structures, explore regional coordination and support, and think deeply about BHL’s next chapter.
The week also included a stakeholder listening session with collaborators from across the biodiversity informatics community, BHL Day 2026, and behind-the-scenes visits to remarkable collections in London, Richmond, and Cambridge.
