We’ve just launched a new fundraising campaign inviting supporters to become BHL Sustainers by making a recurring monthly gift.
Over the past year, the BHL community has helped BHL transition to a new independent future. Since BHL launched public fundraising for the transition in October 2025, supporters from 46 countries have contributed more than USD $113,000 to help secure BHL’s independent future.
USD $51,000 of that support was given during our #GiveBHLWings campaign, held during the final seven weeks before BHL’s transition to independence on 1 January 2026. That campaign featured flying fish soaring across the waves.
Our new campaign also draws on an historic image from BHL’s collections.
Like these baby kingfishers, BHL needs steady support to grow stronger and thrive in its new independent future.
