This has no doubt happened already, but it is interesting to see BHL content that is about other BHL content. For example, today in a fit of displacement activity I added articles for the journal Zoological bibliography, or, Opera zoologica, which is mostly about dates of publication of key taxonomic works. Hence it’s not unusual to see things like page 63751306 which is a copy of page 34171223. It’s turtles all the way down.

There are a lot of book reviews, for example, to which this applies. Some way to link them, in their metadata, would be good (we use “main subject (P921)” on Wikidata).
At the same time, we could link obituaries to their human subjects.
Yes to linking obituaries to people. BioStor is full of obituaries, and I often think that a great way to find more would be to have more sophisticated page classification in BHL. For example, finding all articles that include a picture of a person would likely uncover a lot of obituaries. I been experimenting with image search recently (e.g., find pages that resemble this Wikipedia image of Ernst Shackleton) and it seems to work surprisingly well. So we could imagine people asking “does BHL have any information on this person” by searching using their photo.
True, but sometimes the reason for wanting to find an obituary is to see if there is a photo we can use…
