Welcome to the BHL Community Forum!
If you’re new here, feel free to introduce yourself. We’d love to get to know the people who make up the global BHL community.
You might like to share:
- where you’re based
- your institution or area of work
- how you use BHL
- a favorite discovery from BHL
- something you’re currently working on
BHL brings together a diverse community of researchers, librarians, developers, biodiversity informaticians, creators, and enthusiasts. Introductions are a great way to connect with others who share your interests.
We’re delighted to have you here!
Hi everyone, I’m Nicole Kearney, BHL’s Communications Director, Manager of BHL Australia, and Chair of BHL’s Persistent Identifier Working Group.

I’m passionate about sharing BHL’s incredible collections with the world, and making biodiversity knowledge accessible, discoverable, and connected.

I love travel, exploring new places, hiking, camping, recording wildlife observations on iNaturalist, propagating indoor plants, and (of course) anything book-related.

Hi I’m Siobhan Leachman. I’m a Wikimedian (that is I edit Wikipedia, Wikidata, Wikimedia Commons) and I’m currently the Chair of the BHL-Wiki Working group.
I’m keen on sharing BHL content in the Wiki ecosystem and ensuring all can access and reuse BHL’s data. The relevant project on Wiki can be found on the BHL meta page.
If you want to know more about what I’m up to see either my Wiki page.
