The latest post in our bhlat20 anniversary series is now live.
In Collaboration and Dedication: Digitizing Legacy Publications of the Asiatic Society, our fabulous BHL Digital Collections Manager Bianca Crowley (@bhlbianca) reflects on the long, collaborative effort to digitize and curate the legacy publications of the Asiatic Society.
This was not a short or simple project. It unfolded over 11 years and involved 9 institutions, 19 people, 40 internal tickets, more than 82 comments, and countless hours of work across BHL’s distributed network.
The post is a wonderful reminder that BHL’s treasures are not just the books, journals, and archives we make freely available. They are also the incredible people whose collaboration, care, and persistence make them accessible. Here’s to you all!
